Máquina and the removal of Fábrica

A new administrator, Inacio Miquitande, was sworn into office in the district of Muecate, in the northern Mozambican province of Nampula, on Monday, following last month's summary dismissal of his predecessor Adelino Fabrica.

The Minister of State Administration, Carmelita Namashalua, sacked Fabrica after his harassment of a local mechanics had caused a national outcry...

At the Monday ceremony, the Nampula Provincial Permanent Secretary, Antonio Maquina, denied that the removal of Fabrica had anything to do with the Assane case. As for Fabrica's future, Maquina said "he will probably continue to exercise duties in his area of activity, but I don't know exactly where".
