Imensis é um dos primeiros democráticos e democratizantes websites moçambicanos.
É para mim um site de consulta obrigatória para quem se interessa ao processo democrático
do país. Infelizmente, por razões que não sei, já perdemos muito daquilo que
podia ser muito útil para consultar. Em 2005 foi encerrado o grupo “comunidade
imensis” e substituido por um novo. Acho que foi um erro, pois que por muitas
razões e a bem da nação, o antigo grupo devia continuar disponível para a
leitura, isto é, devia manter-se como uma biblioteca.
Como não bastasse, o novo grupo está sem se acessar já passa
um tempo. Que deve ser passar?

triste por esta situacão e penso que não estou sozinho.
Com muita
humildade peço ao Imensis para continuar a proporcionar-nos o espaço. Tenho
saudades infinitas.

Eu também lamento a censura e política de exclusão do portal imensis (alegadamente incluindo Serviços Internet grátis como “chat” e “fórum”). A imensis.co.mz claramente viola a liberdade de expressão. A gerência desta página web sob pretexto de razoes técnicas, desde Abril de 2012 bloqueia por completo o fórum (com conteúdo sobre graves violações dos direitos humanos, crimes de guerra, crimes de genocídio, crimes contra a humanidade, crimes de agressão). E ainda, supostamente como reacção a essa incomoda informação do senhor Reflectindo, o webmaster do portal eliminava a ligação (link) para o blog “Reflectindo sobre Moçambique”, enquanto permaneceu o link ao “Diário de um sociólogo”. Acho, mais uma tentativa de censurar. Por isso eu proponho de por imensis.co.mz. na lista negra dos Repórteres sem Fronteiras (RSF). E quero expressar a minha solidariedade com o senhor Reflectindo e sua luta pela liberdade de informação. Exorto os gerentes da empresa imensis.co.mz a cessarem de imediato a censura e o bloqueio de acesso ao fórum e ao arquivo da “comunidade imensis”.
